Coleman and Vladar lead the Flames to a 3-0 victory over the Devils, ending their four-game losing streak.

The Calgary Flames defeated the New Jersey Devils 3-0 on Friday, ending a four-game losing streak with two goals from Lake Coleman.

Just twenty-eight seconds after Coleman broke a scoreless tie at 14:26 of the third quarter, Jonathan Huberdeau scored Calgary’s other goal (6-4-1).

For the first time this season, New Jersey (7-5-2), which had scored 12 goals in its last two victories, was shut out.

Dan Vladar recorded his third career shutout with 22 saves. On a breakaway in the second quarter, Jack Hughes made his greatest stop. Jacob Markstrom made 29 stops for the Devils against his old team.

Before the Flames traded, Markstrom and Vladar were goaltender teammates in Calgary for three years.
