The Israeli army struck its ninth school shelter in the Gaza Strip in recent days, this time in Gaza City. The attack killed at least two Palestinians who were refuge there among other internally displaced individuals.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that at least five people were killed after the Israeli army shelled a house in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The incident was followed by shelling that killed at least eight in the nearby Nuseirat refugee camp.
Israeli missiles killed a second Hezbollah commander in 24 hours, according to assertions from the Lebanese group and the Israeli army.
Israel also murdered a key commander of a Hamas-allied armed organization in Lebanon in the last day. Israel has slashed by 94 percent the amount of water available in Gaza, “creating a deadly health catastrophe“, an Oxfam report states.
At least 38,848 Palestinians have been killed and 89,459 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza. The dead toll in Israel from Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is estimated at 1,139, with dozens of persons still held captive in Gaza.
