Four Florida Panthers preseason games will be televised on Scripps Sports.
Is it odorous? The NHL season is approaching. The Florida Panthers, the reigning Stanley Cup Champions, will be gathering in Fort Lauderdale in a few short weeks to commence training camp and begin preparing for their title defense.
The preseason begins with training camp, and the Panthers have a strong eight-game exhibition schedule to prepare for Opening Night on October 8 against the Boston Bruins.
In addition to providing fans with free access to all locally produced Cats games on over-the-air channels, the Panthers’ agreement with Scripps Sports includes the exciting addition of a few preseason games. Four preseason shows are scheduled to air, all within a week of each other.

The organization also revealed that they will be launching a new weekly program called “Primetime Panthers” on October 3. The Panthers claim that the program will cover “hockey features, community stories, and more.” Every Wednesday, the program will be broadcast on the Panthers Scripps network of stations.
Panthers games will be available to fans in South Florida on WSFL Channel 39 in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, WHDT Channel 9 in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, and WFTX Channel 36.3 in Fort Myers.
