Georgia high school football’s return to live action means a return to updated images of the Bulldogs’ best targets. Dawgs247 was on the road multiple days this week to witness some players with Georgia offers, key targets, or pledges play in their Week 1 games.

Some commits seen this week: Georgia defensive back commit Jontae Gilbert and Georgia edge rusher commit Isaiah Gibson. Both of those prospects proved why the Bulldogs worked so hard for their commitments this summer.

A few of Georgia’s biggest 2025 targets were back on the field: Georgia edge target Chase Linton (who is now decommitted from Rutgers), Rutgers defensive line commit Braxton Kyle, uncommitted running back target Ousmane

Kromah, Florida defensive line commit Jeramiah McCloud, and Georgia Tech defensive backs commit Rasean Dinkins. All five of those candidates are certain to show up in Athens at some time this fall.

Looking to the future, it’s bright in Douglas County with prospects like 2026 wide receivers Aaron Gregory and Devin Carter and 2027 offensive lineman Joshua Sam Epelle. Dawgs247 is possibly returning to Jonesboro at Douglas County next week.

A few additional non-senior targets that Georgia’s recruiting who stood out this week: 2026 wide receiver Nalin Scott and 2028 defensive back Casey Barner.

Take a peek at those targets below.

The Georgia Bulldogs are nearly through another tough fall camp. The Bulldogs had a significant test on Saturday, when they returned to Sanford Stadium for one more scrimmage.

The Bulldogs held their second and final scrimmage of camp on Saturday. The scrimmage was yet another challenge for Georgia and occurred just two weeks before the Bulldogs open the 2024 season against Clemson in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart was not satisfied by the first scrimmage, which was held on Aug. 10. That said, Smart understood his players had a chance to redeem themselves a week later.

“Progress has been good. I would say that the first scrimmage wasn’t totally up to the standard of our expectations, “Smart stated on Aug. 13. “We did not have a lot of energy, didn’t play until the level that I think we need to play at.

But the good thing is they’ve got another chance this Saturday and actually every day to go out to practice.” Let’s take a look at some of the photographs from Saturday’s action:
