The Commanders can expect Jason Wright to depart after the end of the 2024 season.

After being hired four years ago as the first Black team president in NFL history, Jason Wright became the face of the Washington Commanders’ effort to change the culture of the workplace. Wright and Commanders owner Josh Harris announced that Wright would step down from his position immediately and leave the team by the end of the upcoming season.
