The player for the New York Knicks had wrist surgery.
In the midst of the season, Bojan Bogdanovic was moved to the New York Knicks (via the Detroit Pistons).
He was hurt in the middle of the first round, despite expectations that he would be a key player in the team’s postseason run.
Bogdanovic shot 45.4% from the field and 39.8% from three-point range in 57 games to conclude the regular season with averages of 15.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
The Knicks formally declared on Wednesday that Bogdanovic had a successful surgery. With a 50-32 record, the Knicks were the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
They suffered a seven-game loss to the Indiana Pacers following their victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in the opening round. In the end, injuries proved to be a significant role in their season’s termination.
Over 10 seasons, Bogdanovic has played for the Knicks, Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Utah Jazz, Indiana Pacers, and Washington Wizards.
Throughout his career, he has averaged 15.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 39.4% from three-point range and 46.0% from the field.
