Update: The Philadelphia Eagles gave Super Star a private workout…

The Eagles coaching staff grants the lesser-mentioned Eagles star a private workout.

Another selection meeting nears. We are less than two weeks away from watching Commissioner Roger Goodell approach the platform and place the Philadelphia Eagles on the clock.

At the time of this story’s release, the Birds had eight choices across the NFL Draft’s three-day timeframe. There’s plenty of talent on the board to select from.

The draft is an opportunity for Philly to elevate its roster. The needs are well-known. Everything from depth along the O-line to reinforcements in the secondary has highlighted one conversation or another.  We don’t know when the Eagles plan to satisfy their desire for a pass rusher. Two things are, nonetheless, certain.

First, this draft is filled with talented edge rushers. Some can even be found late. Second, if three days pass and one hasn’t been added, we’ll all hear a different style of talk. Fortunately, the Eagles are doing their due diligence in scouting some exceptional pass rushers. It appears they even flew out to do so.

Eagles defensive line coach Jeremiah Washburn reportedly did a private workout with Colorado State’s Mohamed Kamara.

As the bow is placed on another week, we have seen and heard reports of the pre-draft visits the Eagles have supposedly hosted. Laiatu Latu, Chop Robinson, and Marshawn Kneeland are among the edge rushers they have hosted. Recently, they have investigated different means of scouting.

Inside The Birds staff reporter and content producer Andrew DiCecco claims defensive line coach Jeremiah Washburn “traveled to Fort Collins earlier this week to privately workout Colorado State EDGE Mohamed Kamara.”

The former Ram has been assigned everything from late-third-round to fifth-round selection evaluations. He’s a six-foot-one, 248-pounder who ranks among the finest sack artists of the 2023 college football season.

He notched 56 tackles, 13 sacks, and two forced fumbles during his last NCAA season. NFL Draft expert Lance Zierlein gives him a grade of 6.15, saying he’s an excellent backup with the potential to develop into a starter.

Luckily, Philly has a few veterans (Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, Bryce Huff, and Nolan Smith) that he can learn from. Keep an eye on him. Philly is obviously doing so.
