Fact regarding Arsenal’s potential line-up against today’s match…

ARSENAL vs. BURNLEY LINE-UP PREDICTION THIS AFTERNOON AS ZINCHENKO RETURNS

Arsenal will be hoping for a sixth successive Premier League win when they go to Turf Moor to face Burnley this afternoon. The Gunners recorded their best away win in the Premier League era last weekend as they thrashed West Ham by a 6-0 score.

Mikel Arteta’s team will go into the Burnley game as clear favourites and have the possibility to create a new record of their own. The club had never won five league games since the start of the year.

A big-margin victory against Burnley may see the Gunners top the standings today if Liverpool drop points away to Brentford.

David Raya has missed just one league game since his Premier League debut for the club last September.

The Spaniard kept a clean sheet against the Hammers, and he is set to continue in goal ahead of Aaron Ramsdale amid his ever-improving form.

The defence could see a solitary alteration from the Derby win. Ben White was superb in the inverted right-back spot and grabbed himself an assist last weekend.

The Englishman is poised to continue at right back with William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in central defence.

Set-pieces have become a significant source of goals for the Gunners this year. The centre-backs will be targeting the net today against a Burnley side, who are vulnerable from set plays.

Arteta remained tight-lipped about the availability of players but hinted that a couple could return from injuries.

We predict Oleksandr Zinchenko (rated at €42 million by Transfermarkt) to return from a minor calf ailment to replace Jakub Kiwior at left-back.

The rest of the team might stay unchanged, from our perspective. Jorginho did not play a single minute last weekend as he was suffering from a foot ailment.

The Italian produced a fantastic man-of-the-match performance against Liverpool earlier this month, but he could be relegated to a cameo appearance this time. The manager is expected to continue with Declan Rice and Kai Havertz in the heart of the park today.

Rice has been on set-piece duty during the past several games, and it has made a major difference with three assists. Hopefully, we will see more of the same. Further forward, Martin Odegaard is a nailed-on starter in the number 10 spot for the Gunners. The same is the case for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli on the right and left wing, respectively.

Odegaard was excellent with two assists versus West Ham and could have easily gotten more. Likewise, Saka netted twice but had chances to earn a hat-trick.

Martinelli did not make any direct goal contributions, but the Brazilian should fancy his possibilities today against the second-worst defence in the league.

Leandro Trossard should lead the assault regardless of Gabriel Jesus’ availability, considering he has scored in back-to-back league games for the Gunners.
