Unbelievable: Fabricio Andrade is thinking of dividing his training schedule between Thailand and Brazil.

Fabricio Andrade, the world champion bantamweight MMA fighter, recently had a private conversation with Sportskeeda MMA in which he talked about a few aspects of his professional background.

Wonder Boy talked on a variety of subjects, including going back to his native Brazil following a knockout loss to Jonathan Haggerty, the Muay Thai king of his division, in a kickboxing match in November of last year.

Regarding the significance of coming home to Fabricio Andrade during a period when he was recuperating from a catastrophic loss:

You know, I’m even thinking about coming here more frequently. I’m even considering my training alternatives here. In order to train for my fights and stay near my family and friends, I could travel between Rio de Janeiro and Thailand. Rio has a wonderful gym. For me, this has been a much-needed time.

When you’re trying to recover as a person, there’s always something so potent about returning home and exploring your origins. Andrade made the decision to go back to his birthplace and be surrounded by the people who have always loved and supported him.

There aren’t many prestigious worldwide gyms that can compare to how significant that is to one’s career.

Fabricio Andrade acknowledges that returning to his native Brazil rekindled his passion again.

Sure enough, Fabricio Andrade’s deadly instinct returned when he went back to the site where it all started for him.

“Wonder Boy” talked candidly about his experiences in Rio de Janeiro while he was back home in the same Sportskeeda MMA interview:

“It’s not just about me; I also need to keep in mind why I’m doing this—that is, why I’m here with my family, helping them. Additionally, my buddies have returned the fire to me. I was somewhat reminded by them of my purpose for being here and the necessity of all that.

Based on the glimpses of his life that he shares on Instagram, Andrade appears to have a wonderful network of people who love and support him.

Losing might not mean much to you if you surround yourself with people who will always think you’re amazing and who love you no matter what.

That is, to put it mildly, a significant victory for “Wonder Boy.”
