The start times of Formula 1 races for the 2024 season, which will see the first two Grand Prix held on Saturdays, have been confirmed.
Due to the commencement of Ramadan on the Sunday of the latter Jeddah race week, the timetable for both of the back-to-back races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia is one day ahead of schedule for the record 24-race season, which will be streamed live on Sky Sports F1.
Accordingly, qualifying will be held on Friday and the Grand Prix will be held on Saturday, with practice for both events scheduled for Thursday.
Ahead of the upcoming Formula 1 season, McLaren has unveiled its brand-new 2024 livery.
Bahrain’s first-ever season kicks off on Saturday, March 2, at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 9 at 5 p.m. UK time, live on Sky Sports F1. Saudi Arabia’s Grand Prix will begin. Floodlights are used for both events.
The other race of the season is scheduled for November in Las Vegas; but, because to the time difference with the USA’s west coast, viewers in the UK will once again have to wake up early on Sunday morning.

This is in response to concerns expressed by several drivers and team managers regarding the late start time of the first Vegas program. For example, at the first event on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, qualifying began at midnight local time.
The whole itinerary for the six Sprint events—China, Miami, Austria, the US, Brazil, and Qatar—is still pending confirmation. In the upcoming weeks, F1’s stakeholders will convene to finalize the arrangements for the weekends that include the extra 100-kilometer Saturday Sprint race.
