He’s Still Down: A complete injury update for Arsenal during their Christmas vacation in Dubai, with Zinchenko still out of commission

Arsenal will play in the Premier League again this weekend when they welcome Crystal Palace at the Emirates after a mid-season break.

The supporters of the team will be hoping that the break has given them time to heal, refuel, and be ready for a fantastic display against Palace.

The Evening Standard released a concerning update regarding Oleksander Zinchenko prior to the game. The left-back was injured in his calf prior to Arsenal’s New Year’s Eve 2-1 loss to Fulham. It was hoped that he would participate in the FA Cup match between Arsenal and Liverpool; however, the injury kept him out of the 2-0 FA Cup defeat as well.

The majority of Gunners are not comfortable with Kiwior starting at left back, but because their transfer window attempt to get a left backhas not yet paid off, they could have to give him their trust.mined to be available for the Palace match, the Evening Standard now reports that he is unlikely to start that game since Jakub Kiwior might wind up playing left back once again.

The Evening Standard reports that, aside from Zinchenko, Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira are recuperating from injuries quite well, although they will still need several weeks to return to action.

Thankfully, Gabriel Jesus, who was sidelined by a knee injury during Liverpool’s FA Cup loss, will be available to start against Palace.

Nevertheless, Jurrien Timber is still not ready to go back and won’t be able to play for a while, even though he is back practicing on grass.
